This project took place from November 2020 through January 2021. All wood and stabilizing materials were reclaimed.
Materials turning into compost include leftover hay and straw dust that otherwise would not have been used at the sanctuary. We have also received leaves, as well as produce scraps that would have otherwise been thrown into a landfill.
At our house, we also made compost bins out of partially reclaimed wood!
The ground’s generosity takes in our compost and grows beauty! Try to be more like the ground.
